Yarn Along-Chore Time Bobble Winter Hat Pattern

posted in: Uncategorized 2
Did you look at the calendar this morning? As I opened The Greatest Gift, my advent devotional book by Ann Voskamp, I panicked. Yikes! There are only 22 more days until Christmas! I thought I would share this hat pattern with you, in case you need to knit up a quick gift for someone, and Ann’s book, in case you need to escape the shopping frenzy and focus on the joy of the Christmas season.

The Greatest Gift by Ann Voskamp

This summer, while visiting my mother-in-law, she showed me a hat she knit about 25 or 30 years ago. She said the pattern came out of a very old knitting book which she no longer had. She had taken the hat to a friend, and asked her to write out the pattern for her. I brought the pattern home to knit a sample. I loved knitting this hat.

Warning….You know how you can not eat just one “Oreo” cookie at a time? Well, you will not be able to only knit one of these. As soon as I cast off one hat, another was cast on. I knit three of them before stopping! Do you think YOU could knit just one??
